Adventure into Intimacy and Wonder and the Practical Skill of Living in Metaphor

The Mission of Expedition 61 is to build a crew who will collaboratively create and sustain authentic community which overflows into a Biblical standard and model for true discipleship, Kingdom-oriented leadership, and a Christ-centered worldview. The Expedition 61 AMT will be focused on building disciples/leaders through encounters into intimacy and wonder and living in metaphor. Leaders are developed in practical skills in outdoor adventure preparation, primitive living skills, spiritual metaphor and rights of passage. The curriculum is mainly experiential and covers key Biblical Truths such as our identities as sons of the King, living out the authority we’ve been given in Christ by His Holy Spirit (e.g. walking on water, healing the sick, raising the dead, setting the prisoners and captives free, bringing out the gold, stewardship ) This AMT will have several optional outings, but you’re not going to want to miss out! - Friday offsite adventure activations, including one overnight campout. Both instructors have over 25 years experience in leading trips in the mountains, deserts, rivers and seas, with signs & wonders following. There will be additional writings and excerpts to read for this course. Part 3 of this will be open for 10 students on an extended Sailing trip in the BVI’s.
